Consult

Have a goal in mind. Come and discuss it with me in a relaxing atmosphere. We can discuss options, pros, cons, budgets, finance etc. The idea is to give you direction and advice.

Plan

Once we have agreed on a way forward, come in and have an in-depth thorough assessment of your teeth to finalise the plan. This includes making sure your teeth are suitable, taking photos and scans, and can even include a trial smile depending on the case.

Execute

Once we have finalised the plan, and you are fully informed, we execute the plan with absolute precision.

Common goals people have with teeth

  • Everyone wants to have a beautiful smile that can light up a room. Achieving this usually involves having straight, white, and bright teeth that look like they belong in the pages of a magazine.

  • When it comes to dazzling smiles, nothing quite compares to the brilliant sheen of pearly whites that command attention and leave onlookers utterly speechless. It's that impeccable sparkle that we all crave for, to add a touch of glamour and confidence to our every smile.

  • You deserve to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin, with a bright and beautiful smile that perfectly reflects your unique personality and features. With the right dental treatment, you can achieve a stunning new look that enhances your natural beauty and leaves you feeling truly radiant.

Veneers

A veneer is a thin porcelain moulding that is bonded to the front surface of a tooth, providing a quick and effective solution to stained, chipped, misshapen, or crooked teeth. The ultimate solution to enhancing your smile, as porcelain remains polished and radiant. Beauty does come with a cost, whereby a layer of your tooth needs to be shaved down to make space for the veneer.

Crowns

A dental crown is a cap shaped like a tooth that is permanently placed over a damaged or discoloured tooth to look, feel, and function like a natural tooth. Similar to a veneer in its potential to make your tooth look brand new, but it does require more tooth to be drilled in order for it to be placed.

Composite Bonding

We apply a paste-like material that hardens when exposed to blue light. This is used to sculpt the tooth and improve its appearance, often without the need for drilling. It is also used to fix cavities in teeth.

Often, this solution looks initially impressive, but as it ages, it stains and dulls, with a lifespan of approximately 3-10 years.

Bridges

When you have a gap in your teeth, a dental bridge can help fill it in. This involves placing a false tooth in the space and bonding it to the natural teeth on either side of the gap. There are two main types of dental bridges: one that uses porcelain or metal crowns attached to your natural teeth, and another that uses a framework bonded to the backs of your teeth. Both are meant to be permanent solutions for missing teeth.

Root Canal Therapy

Regardless of the treatment you undergo, a damaged tooth can pose a risk of nerve aggravation. This can result in significant pain, often leading to the need for tooth extraction. However, root canal treatment may be an option to repair the tooth. During this procedure, the nerve that runs through the root of the tooth is removed. After the tooth is thoroughly cleaned, a filling is used to seal it, which ultimately helps to prevent the need for extraction.

Implants

A dental implant is a titanium screw that is implanted directly into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. The bone surrounding the implant gradually fuses to it, ensuring a secure hold. A crown, resembling the shape and color of the existing teeth, is then attached to the top of the implant, providing a natural-looking smile and a permanent solution.

Dentures

Replacing missing teeth can be effectively achieved with dentures, which are removable frameworks made of either plastic or metal. These frameworks can hold single or multiple false teeth and are custom-made to fit the size and shape of your mouth. This ensures that they feel and look as natural as possible. Dentures are a trusted method for tooth replacement.

Aligner therapy

Aligners are a discreet way of straightening your smile using clear, removable aligners. Unlike traditional fixed braces, there are no wires or brackets involved. The aligners are made of a flexible plastic material that is custom-made to fit your mouth. You will receive a series of aligner sets that are changed every week until you achieve your desired final result.

We use Invisalign as the brand of choice.

Professional Hygiene

Maintaining healthy gums and teeth requires regular dental hygiene treatment, as more adults are losing teeth due to gum disease rather than decay. It is vital to visit a hygienist regularly, in addition to dental check-ups and practicing good oral care at home. This will significantly improve both the appearance of your teeth and your overall oral health. Hygienist services include scale and polish treatments, preventative fluoride applications, AIR-FLOW therapy, and cosmetic stain-removing and brightening treatments.

Cosmetic Fillings

If you have a cavity or a chipped tooth, a dental filling can be used to fix the problem. Neglecting treatment can lead to toothache, bad breath, infection, and even tooth loss or fracturing. As cavities tend to grow over time, it is essential to seek treatment as soon as possible to avoid future complications. Therefore, it's crucial to keep up with regular check-ups. The good news is that fillings can also be made to look aesthetically pleasing, so your teeth can look like they did before.

Gum Lift

If your smile is gummy, we can trim excess gum for better aesthetics. Gums frame the teeth, and so it is equally essential for them to be healthy and correctly proportioned!
